Help connect people with government healthcare services such as Anganwadis, sub-centres and Primary Health Centres.

Provide basic primary care for minor illnesses and emergencies, and refer people who require treatment to appropriate healthcare facilities.

Report information about infectious diseases and unusual disease outbreaks to the Health Department and participate in preventive activities.

Provide the necessary assistance in collecting and reporting birth and death information.

Cooperate in conducting health surveys and implementing government health schemes and local health activities.

Coordinate health activities in collaboration with local healthcare systems, including the Village Health and Sanitation Committee.
