125 Days of Employment

◆ Employment Guarantee

The key feature of the scheme is the provision of 125 days of wage employment every financial year to adult members of rural households who are willing to undertake unskilled manual work.

To ensure the availability of labour during peak agricultural periods, works may be scheduled during a period of up to 60 days as specified by the State Government. Eligible workers will continue to receive the guaranteed 125 days of employment.
